Civic EngagementGet involved in the civic process by doing one of the following:
1. Attend a meeting of local government. Take a picture of yourself at the meeting (try to get one of the elected officials to take a picture with you) and write a paragraph about what was discussed at the meeting. 2. Write a letter to your elected officials about a topic that interests you. Pick any (or all) of your elected officials and write them a letter. This could be at the local, state, or national level. Make sure to use correct formatting for a letter, to proofread for correct grammar and spelling, and to research the topic about which you are writing. Turn the letter to me in a pre-addressed, unsealed envelope with a stamp and I will mail it for you after I have graded it for credit. Get ConnectedWhere do governments meet?
